Case studies
As part of the Liverpool Invest to Change 2009 – 2010 project a series of bespoke training activities were developed and delivered to a range of work based learning providers. These included autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) awareness, deaf awareness, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) training and Training in Systematic Instruction (TSI).
In order to put this training into practice links were made with a range of special schools in Liverpool and a minimum of 2 work based learning providers. The purpose of this was to offer students the opportunity to widen their transitional options by attending a range of work experience placements in specific vocational areas.
