AGM review
GMLPF held its 5th annual general meeting on 18th June in the conference centre at HCTS’s new, green, state-of-the-art premises. The meeting reflected on an exciting year for GMLPF and its members and included three presentations:
- A review of the successful Badged Apprenticeships programme by operations manager, Joanner Rymer. The presentation included the showing of a film produced by learners on the merits of their city.
- An overview of the setting up of an employer pool for Apprenticeships by Mark Hayes of Manchester Solutions
- A presentation on the National Apprenticeships Service(NAS) by John Myers, NAS Employer Services director for Merseyside, Cheshire and Warrington.
Stan Pochron, chief executive of GMLPF then presented the accounts and overview of the past year. GMLPF also received their certificate for their IiP re-recognition, presented by John Myers to GMLPF chairman, Peter McEvoy (right).
