GMLPF present Tourism Award
GMLPF sponsored the Excellence in Customer Service Award at this year’s Tourism Awards held on 18th June. At the high profile event which celebrates best practice in Merseyside’s tourism industry, Stan Pochron, chief executive of GMLPF, presented the award to winner Christina Dixon of Jury’s Inn.
Also at the event, there was an award for Student in Hospitality and Tourism sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council. The award went to Stephanie Arnold of St Helen’s College. One of the runners-up was apprentice, Daniel Norton of Progress Sports who was one of the young people who completed GMLPF’s Badged Apprenticeships programme.
