tpm launch official You Tube page for communicating with young people

As part of the media section of their website, tpm have launched their official You Tube page as an additional way of communicating with their core market: young people on Merseyside.

Brian Quinn, director, feels it is important to keep pace with developments in channels of communication, particularly when it come to young people

"We all know that You Tube is a primary source of information for young people, not just entertainment. This is why it was imperative for tpm to have an official You Tube presence. We will be using it to outline the programmes we offer but also to rase awareness of issues such as available support for learning difficulties and disabilities, dyslexia support, career progression, and equality and diversity.

Brian Quinn is an ambassador for CEOP and tpm is currently implementing internal policies to address their learners' safety online as part of a wider safeguarding strategy. The tpm You Tube page will figure as a principle communication tool in this important and topical area.
