Skills and creativity take centre stage at hairshows
The outstanding skills and creativity of apprentices at two of Merseyside's hairdressing learning providers were highlighted at recent hairshows in the city.
Michael John of Liverpool's 2010 Catwalk Extravaganza (pictured right) took place on 21st June at the CUC centre, Greenland St where the talents of all Michael John learners merged in a spectacular show. Learners' talents were highlighted in a series of heats in the following categories: 14-16 AVC Hairdressing, Beauty L2 and L3, 1st and 2nd year L2 Hairdressing Apprentices, and a finale from L3 Hairdressing learners.
Students from The Training Station displayed their outstanding technical and creative skills at the training company's 2010 hairdressing competition (pictured below) held recently at the Liner Hotel with an audience of over 650.
