Scientiam opens Green Energy Training Centre

Scientiam are now offering recognised training in green energy at their recently opened Green Energy Training Centre (GETC).
The GETC is a partnership between Scientiam, renewable energy products manufacturer Stiebel Eltron and the Skills Funding Agency and is Scientiam's first first national training centre offering recognised qualifications in installing green energy microgeneration technologies. Scientiam are offering a range of courses using only the most cutting-edge renewable technology available. Funding for the £280,000 centre has come from both the private and public sector, with Scientiam investing £100,000 in the project.
Mandi O’Shea said:
“People on the course will have direct access to the technologies and will be able to handle the systems, de-construct them and put them back together. This way they will fully understand the practical as well as theoretical side of renewable energy system installation”.
