3 new providers for GMLPF's Access to Apprenticeships programme

Three more providers have been brought on board to offer the GMLPF's Access to Apprenticeships programme: Mode Training, North West Training Council and The Vocational College.

Mode Training are offering hairdressing and performing arts as options through this programme. They have traditionally strong links with schools so are in a good position to raise awareness of the Access to Apprenticeships programmes amongst pupils who may be vulnerable to falling into the NEET group.

North West Training Council will be offering engineering and The Vocational College, training for young people interested in getting apprenticeships in the glass industry.

GMLPF will soon be launching an Access to Apprenticeships mini-site which will provide key information on the choice available for young people through the programme, profiles of participating providers, and success stories for use by anyone wanting to raise awareness of the programme
