The National Apprenticeship Service will provide up to 5,000 Apprenticeship Grants for Employers of 16 and 17 year olds (AGE 16 and 17) with a value of £2,500 to encourage employers to take on unemployed 16-17 year olds as apprentices.

NWPN are looking for case studies for a BME Case project £100 for each approved one. 

 

A new scheme has been launched to recognise businesses who employ apprentices. The Apprenticeship employers badge can be displayed by businesses on their websites to highlight their commitment to Apprenticeships. In return, their logos will then be displayed on the Apprenticeships website.

Local employers involved in work-based learning are needed to feature in a video for schools in Liverpool outlining pupil choices at 16. If you are a Liverpool provider with an employer client who would be willing to be interviewed for the video, please contact June at GMLPF. Both the provider and the employer will benefit from this positive PR opportunity.
