PIF Tender Opportunity 27: Carbon Footprinting Training

GMLPF wishes to appoint an experienced supplier to deliver Carbon Footprinting Training – Helping Learning Providers Move to Net Zero for LCR-based learning providers.

This tender for training is a direct response to the outcomes of COP 26 and the need for progress towards Net Zero, the cost of living increases experienced by society generally and the learning provider sector in particular (and the need to reduce consumption of energy and other natural resources) and increased emphasis on the development of green skills.

The training must enable participants to build their awareness of carbon footprinting, environmental sustainability and related issues in the learning sector. In particular:

  • To improve their understanding of carbon footprinting in the workplace
  • To provide a roadmap for achieving carbon neutrality in their organisation
  • How to strategically align their organisation with the UK Government’s objectives for carbon neutrality
  • To build a more general understanding of the green/net zero agenda with a view to upskilling staff, learners and other stakeholders
