GMLPF re-awarded Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge (ASK) contract

GMLPF has once again been contracted to deliver the Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge (ASK) programme. This programme aims to improve 14-18-year-olds’ understanding of post-16 options including Apprenticeships, Traineeships and T Levels.

The ASK programme is impartial and helps educational institutions make progress toward their Gatsby targets.

Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge (ASK) programme is not just for schools

This year, in addition to our traditional collaboration with schools, we can support organisations delivering Study Programme and Traineeships to 16-18-year-olds to help promote next-step opportunities for learners.

Are you an FE College, a Study Programme provider or Traineeship provider? Then GMLPF’s ASK programme can help you showcase your learners’ potential career development pathways. This is particularly relevant given Ofsted’s increased focus on IAG and careers education following Covid.

We can offer a wide range of support:

  • Awareness presentations to whole year groups or smaller cohorts
  • Practical help to register with Find An Apprenticeship
  • One-to-one support and mock interviews
  • Teacher/trainer CPD
  • Parents evenings
  • Attendance at careers fairs
  • Bespoke/customised support
